Local Bodies Minister Punjab directs to solve all house tax disputes before December 15, 2013

Chandigarh, October 21, 2013: “All the pending issue related to house tax must be resolved by December 15, strict instruction in this regard has been issued to the officers concerned.” said Anil Joshi, Local Bodies Minister, Punjab while presiding over a high level review meeting of the department here today.
Joshi instructed the officers that all the pending complaints on house tax must be resolved by the dispute committees before December 15, 2013. He said that as per decision of the committee if house tax is not paid before December 31 then no rebate would be given on tax.

The minister also instructed the officers to further issue orders for all Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayats for necessary action.
The minister further said that Major General V.K.Bhatt, Technical Advisor of PMIDC would monitor all ongoing projects of the department for the timely compliance of projects.

Joshi also instructed Sanitary Inspector to ensure fogging in their respective areas to check the menace of Dengue. He also said that Sanitary Inspectors would be responsible for cleanliness of their cities. www.cityairnews.com
