LOK SABHA ELECTIONS 2019: 62.15% POLLING RECORDED IN LUDHIANA PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUENCY

ENTIRE POLLING PROCESS COMPLETED PEACEFULLY DISTRICT ELECTION OFFICER THANKS VOTERS & ELECTION STAFF Ludhiana, May 19, 2019: The entire process of polling for the Lok Sabha elections 2019 completed peacefully in the Ludhiana Parliamentary constituency. A total of 62.15% polling percentage was recorded in the 9 Vidhan Sabha constituencies falling under Ludhiana Parliamentary constituency. While providing information, District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal informed that 62.11% polling was recorded in Ludhiana Central, 62.43% in Ludhiana West, 63.67 in Ludhiana East, 60.42% in Ludhiana North, 55.88% in Ludhiana South, 58.05% in Atam Nagar, 67.54% in Dakha, 64.32% in Gill and 63.06% in Jagraon constituency. Mr Agrawal thanked the voters, election staff for ensuring peaceful polling in Ludhiana Parliamentary constituency today. A total of 22 candidates were in fray for the Lok Sabha 2019 elections for Ludhiana seat and the counting of votes would be held on May 23, 2019.
