LOK SABHA ELECTIONS 2019: 7 COMPANIES OF PUNJAB HOME GUARDS TO GO FOR ELECTION DUTY IN UTTARAKHAND: COMMANDANT DHALIWAL
TEAMS TO LEAVE ON APRIL 5; NECESSARY DIRECTIONS ISSUED DURING MEETING Ludhiana, April 1, 2019: Punjab Home Guards Commandant Rai Singh Dhaliwal (Contingent Incharge Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Uttarakhand) today chaired a meeting with the Home Guard officials from districts Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Hoshiarpur. While providing information, Rai Singh Dhaliwal informed that seven companies of Punjab Home Guards have been chosen for election duty in Uttarakhand and they would be leaving on April 5, 2019. On this occasion, Commandant Dhaliwal today directed all the officials to perform their election duty with utmost devotion and honesty. He said that all the officials leaving for election duty are physically fit and would perform their duties with full discipline. He further informed that the Punjab Home Guards have performed election duties in the past as well and 13 companies have already been dispatched to Uttar Pradesh. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Assistant Commandant Daljit Singh, Company Incharge Harnek Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Hemant Kumar, Gurpreet Singh from District Ludhiana, Assistant Commandant Sohan Singh Misra, Company Incharge Ishwinder Singh, Atinder Sangha and Manjit Singh from district Jalandhar, Assistant Commandant Parkash Singh and Company Incharge Maninder Singh from district Hoshiarpur.
