LOK SABHA ELECTIONS 2019: DISTRICT ELECTION OFFICER RELEASES VOTER AWARENESS SONG
AWARD WINNING TEACHER KARAMJIT SINGH GREWAL’S SONG TO MOTIVATE VOTERS AS WELL AS ELECTION STAFF Ludhiana, May 16, 2019: In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019, a voter awareness song has been prepared by the District Administration under the SVEEP activities. This song has been written and performed by award winning teacher Karamjit Singh Grewal was released by District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal in his office today. ADC (Jagraon) Mrs Neeru Katyal Gupta, ADC (General) Mr Iqbal Singh Sandhu, Mrs Jeevanjot Kaur and Mrs Poonam Preet Kaur (both PCS officers) and team members of SVEEP activities were also present on the occasion. Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal stated that this song would motivate the voters to cast their vote in free and fair manner on May 19, 2019. It is pertinent to mention that this is the second such song released by the District Administration Ludhiana. Earlier, one Balwant Singh, who works as a computer teacher at Government High School, Sarabha Nagar, here and is also working as Nodal Officer of SVEEP activities in Vidhan Sabha constituency Atam Nagar-62, besides, a master trainer for voter awareness, has also performed a song on voter awareness. Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal has urged the voters of district Ludhiana to cast their vote in a free and fair manner on May 19, 2019. He said that the voter awareness campaign would continue till May 19 so that maximum number of voters cast their vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019.
