Lok Sabha Elections 2024 : Civil and Police conduct flag march in Dakha
In order to instil a sense of security among voters ahead of the voting day on June 1, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Deepak Bhatia and DSP Dakha Jaswinder Singh on Tuesday led a flag march in busy areas of the Dakha.
Ludhiana, March 19, 2024: In order to instil a sense of security among voters ahead of the voting day on June 1, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Deepak Bhatia and DSP Dakha Jaswinder Singh on Tuesday led a flag march in busy areas of the Dakha.
Interacting with the people during a flag march in the inner areas of the city, Bhatia said that Civil and police administration was duty-bound to maintain peace and law and order in the district. Bhatia added that no anti-social element would be allowed to disturb the peace.
Bhatia called upon the people to exercise their vote without any fear and everyone should vote on June 1, 2024. He said that the entry points of the area were completely sealed and the area had been divided into special zones for security purposes.
Later, Bhatia also held a meeting with representatives of the various political parties and solicited their fulsome support in adhering to the Model Code of Conduct.
