Jalandhar: Engineering students and alumni of Lovely Professional University (LPU) celebrated Bosch Day-2020 online with the Bosch Leaders, including Chief Expert Sreekanta Aradhya for Industry 4.0 Engineering & Business Solutions. Bosch day was an opportunity where the students graduating in 2021 had the unique opportunity to talk and interact with leaders from within Bosch, and also hear it all from their seniors working at Bosch. During this, technical talk on Industrial IoT and industry 4.0 was also delivered by Bosch experts for the benefit of student community.
LPU is one of the universities in India for the coveted IoT garage initiative by Bosch, and has also been recognized as one of the campus from where the highest number of graduates has been recruited in 2020 by Bosch. Mr Aradhya along with other experts Mohan Bellur, Venu Gopal VV, Karthik Rajapaul, Bharath Kakaiah, Anand Pasoria, Sathyan Somasundaram and LPU alumni, now working with Bosch, interacted vehemently online with LPU engineering students of all domains. Bosch Experts guided LPU students to “be the ‘Quality Talent’. This endeavor proved to be an exclusive opportunity to celebrate the ‘Bosch-LPU’ collaboration.
Director Corporate Relations/Training and Placement Cell at LPU, Prof Dr Harpal Theti shares: “Bestowing to a great association with Bosch at LPU, we celebrated this partnership with a sense of pride and fulfillment. The batch graduating in summers of 2021 had this great opportunity to hear it all from the leaders at Bosch, and also their seniors who are proud “Boschlers” now.”
One of the alumni, Ashutosh shared, “A great association is one which stands by any associate during testing times like COVID. I and other 180 “Boschlers” were assisted to fly from Germany back to India in a chartered flight and for subsequent stay at Vivanta by Taj, all borne by Bosch. I personally feel that ‘Great Career’ and a ‘great work life balance’ is what awaits all the new recruits at Bosch.” /(Sept 24)
