LPU organized Four-Day Freshmen Induction Programme-2021 at its Campus
Students from all Indian States and other countries experienced unique induction, and grasped about culture, security, safety, academic rules- regulations, placements and more at LPU
Jalandhar: Lovely Professional University (LPU) organized four day ‘Freshmen Induction Programme-2021’ at its campus. This much elaborated and informative Induction Programme for ‘Offline Classes’ was specifically designed for 1st year and 2nd year students in their physical presence mode. Thousands of new students from all Indian states and other countries grasped about the culture, security, safety, academic rules/regulations, placements, discipline, hostels and more at the university. As per the American Universities, UGC and government guidelines; an elaborated ‘Induction Program’ was chalked out to welcome & guide new students.
After the CORONA Pandemic, this was the first gathering of the students at the campus to make it lively once again through their presence and varied activities. In this regard, precautionary measures against the COVID-19 were observed to maintain a healthy environment for all at the campus. The dedicated program motivated new entrants through expertise and experiences of LPU’s management, faculty, and staff members. Program also included message-oriented cultural sessions, where new-entrants participated as per their individual talent, taste and temperament.
The Induction Carnival held at the Campus provided students with celebrations of new beginnings, lifelong friendships which are to be permanent reminiscences later on. Senior students had also designed many ice-breaking sessions to energize them for exhibiting their individual potential. Thus, students were made to start their new academic journey conveniently on positive notes and in relaxed moods. A special doubts clearing session was for accompanying parents to satisfy their ifs and buts, if any.
Welcoming new students on joining LPU community, Pro Chancellor Mrs Rashmi Mittal, Pro-Vice Chancellors, Senior Dean, Heads and Faculty members motivated them to start their offline academic journey for a bright future ahead. Sharing about the illustrious placements record of the university, they were also guided to work for their suitable placements in the top industry across the world right from the day one of their studies.
