LPU secured 2nd position in World Universities with Real Impact Rankings in India
In its maiden attempt, Lovely Professional University, one of India’s most prestigious universities, secured 2nd position in India under the World Universities with Real Impact Rankings for 2022.
Jalandhar, June 18, 2022: In its maiden attempt, Lovely Professional University, one of India’s most prestigious universities, secured 2nd position in India under the World Universities with Real Impact Rankings for 2022. Top global Universities like MIT, Harvard, Boston, NUS, OXFORD, UC Barkley, Cambridge, etc. also participated in this prestigious ranking platform, which constitutes of the organizing committee of the Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU). LPU also secured 1st position in India and 17th position in the world under the Fourth Industrial Revolution category of the WURI rankings 2022 (World Universities with Real Impact). What has helped LPU bag the 1st rank in India in the Fourth Industrial Revolution category (Industry 4.0), is its approach that it has adapted towards the application of concepts related to the disruptive technologies and trends such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, Virtual reality (VR), Artificial intelligence (AI), Digital technology, Big data, Cloud services, Blockchain etc. in its academic pedagogy and research & innovations.
Amongst the WURI ranking of top 100, 101-200 and 201 to 300, LPU bagged the 101- 200 band. WURI had also listed various competitive categories such as Industrial Application, Entrepreneurial spirit, Ethical values, Student mobility & Openness, Crisis management and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Commenting on the incredible win, Dr. Ashok Mittal, Chancellor, LPU said, “This is a moment of pride that LPU won the second rank even though we participated for the first time.
