LPU’s 25 Plus Education Students qualified CTET-2022
The qualifying percentage of the appeared students is about 80% in comparison to very low percentage on the whole at national level
Jalandhar, April 11, 2022: More than 25 students of the School of Education at Lovely Professional University have successfully cracked the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)-2022, once again. The qualifying percentage of the LPU students who appeared is about 80%, in comparison to the 17% on the whole at national level. Moreover, all of the appeared LPU students cracked the tough considered test in their very first attempt. All of these successful ones are passing out students this year.
Meticulous guidance for the curriculum at LPU School, with special focus on CTET syllabus’ mapped courses, prepared the students well to see brilliant success. The preparedness at the LPU was also coupled with the mock entrance exam evaluation pattern.
After receiving the CTET certificates, LPU students can further apply for all Central/State Government Teaching jobs like in Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools (KVS); Navodaya Vidyalaya Schools (NVS), Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB), and some of the state government teaching jobs. Worth noticing, candidates cannot apply for central government teaching jobs without a CTET certificate.
Informing that education programmes at LPU create teachers equipped with 21st century technological skills to impart quality education; LPU Pro Chancellor Mrs Rashmi Mittal expressed her being extremely proud of the successful students. Mrs Mittal also congratulated the hard working staff members at the School of Education, and bade best wishes to the students for further glorifying success in their professional lives ahead.
Deputy Dean at the School of Education, Prof Dr Vijay Chechi informed that as the test is administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education of India, the students were made to undergo rigorous practice of previous years’ questions in the classroom, by evaluation of each student through 2000+ multiple choice questions. In addition, courses such as analytical skills: social science/ mathematics and science; comprehension in languages (Hindi and English), were also dealt with.
In fact, the education programmes at LPU, including integrated (BA/BSC BEd; BEd-MEd) and separate BEd, MEd, MA Education- all are scheduled to prepare secondary school teachers by comprehensive curricular coverage with intensive training and field engagement. Maximum of the subject combinations are also available at the school.
