Lt Gen KJ Singh to lead the ‘Shaurya Blood Connect’ Bike Rally on 26 May
6th ‘Shaurya Blood Connect with Indian Army’ Blood Donation Camp will be held at Oakridge International School, Mohali Mohali, May 25, 2019: The 6th edition of annual ‘Shaurya Blood Connect with Indian Army’ event will be held in Mohali on 26th May, 2019, Sunday. The event is being organized by ‘I Am Still Human’ NGO and Chief Guest of the programme will be Lt. Gen. K J Singh (Retd.), PVSM, Ex-GOC-in-Chief, Western Command, who will lead a Bike Rally, which will be followed by a blood donation camp dedicated to Indian Army. Mr Vivek Mehra, Founder, ‘I Am Still Human’, said, “This is our 6th blood donation camp for the Indian Army. The bike rally is to motivate and attract people, specially the youths, to contribute for this noble cause.” The bike rally, comprising of around 100 bikes, will be flagged off from WSL Automobiles, Phase 7, Mohali at 8.15 AM. It will reach Oakridge International School, Landran, Near Thunder zone Amusement Park, Mohali, where the blood donation camp will be held between 9 AM to 12 PM. Mr Mehra informed that an AMC unit of Indian Army in uniform and civilians will be able to donate blood to Indian Army directly. The collected blood will be used by Western Command Hospital for the welfare of Retired and Serving officers and jawans.
