Ludhiana DC, CP and MC Commissioner felicitate toppers of class 10
Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney, Commissioner of Police Kuldeep Singh Chahal, and MC Commissioner Sandeep Rishi on Friday felicitated 10 topper students of the 10th class including Punjab's first and second rank holders.
Ludhiana, April 19, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney, Commissioner of Police Kuldeep Singh Chahal, and MC Commissioner Sandeep Rishi on Friday felicitated 10 topper students of the 10th class including Punjab's first and second rank holders.
Eight of these students, Aditi, Alisha Sharma (both are Punjab's first and second rank holders) Simran Tiwari, Sadhna Rani Gupta, Gursimran, Mohammad Ahmad Raza, Zahid Ali and Aditi, belong to Teja Singh Sutantar Memorial Senior Secondary School, Shimlapuri and two students, Simranpreet Kaur and Mehakpreet Kaur, are from Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Samrala were given appreciation certificates.
After the felicitation ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with them and lauded their achievement. She also praised their teachers and parents for their support. The Deputy Commissioner encouraged the students to dream high, work hard, and remain focused on their goals. She advised them not to get discouraged by failures as they are the pillars of success.
The Deputy Commissioner also urged the students to take inspiration from freedom fighters and martyrs who sacrificed their lives while serving the country. She expressed hope that these students would inspire others and serve society. She also assured them of her full support in their future endeavours.
During the interaction, the students shared their areas of interest, strengths, and difficulties. They also discussed their approach to cracking academic and competitive examinations.
