Ludhiana DC releases documentary film, “Respect Nature” made by city lawyer
The documentary film is dedicated to World Environment Day in Ludhiana
Ludhiana: Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Varinder Kumar Sharma released Documentary film, “Respect Nature - ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰੋ” directed by Harpreet Sandhu along with PadmaShri Dr. Surjit Patar in Ludhiana. Varinder Sharma after previewing the Documentary film, said that Harpreet Sandhu has given a very meaningful message on Nature through his documentary and everyone must have a glimpse of the serene locations of Ludhiana being highlighted in the documentary. He appreciated the dedicated efforts of Advocate Harpreet Sandhu for making a beautiful script of the short documentary film, “Respect Nature - ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰੋ” which portrays changing perspectives of nature and valuing the significance of nature in human life. This Film on Nature made by Harpreet Sandhu depicts the hidden beautiful scenery around Ludhiana as well as Sun Set locations from banks of river Sutlej and scenic orchids and bougivellia gardens within Punjab Agricultural University which is seldom witnessed by people of Ludhiana, hence Advocate Harpreet Sandhu deserves felicitation for his sincere devotion and vision to make this film Re Calling the memorizing scenic beauty of Ludhiana District
Eminent Poet, Padam Shree Dr. Surjit Patar also applauded the concept initiated by Harpreet Sandhu in making this documentary on Nature with befitting title “ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰੋ” which beautifully amalgamated together the philosophy of Guru Nanak and the glimpses of Nature of Punjab, which emphasize that the Almighty prevails in Nature.
PPCB Chairman Dr. S.S Marwaha also applauded the good work done by Harpreet Sandhu, who through his camera captured the beautiful serene of Nature during this second Lockdown and said that this is a timely documentary which will be of great interest for the entire humanity to understand Almighty’s loud and clear message to mankind that, “Nature will be alive forever but mankind will be not.
Harpreet Sandhu said that he started capturing nature around PAU Ludhiana particularly the morning scenes of sunrise through the Fruit Orchards, Bougainvillea garden and Ludhiana Country side t on day to day basis during second phase of lockdown with an aim to study the environmental change and spread the message within community to “Respect Nature - ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰੋ” as majority of us never value the blessings of nature in human life. Sandhu has dedicated this documentary to “World Environment Day” Eminent Agriculturist Mr. Avtar Dhindsa and City leading doctor Vivek Saggar were also present during the release of documentary film
