Ludhiana ITI will be World Class Multi Skill Development Centre
Today, a meeting of the New management of ITI Ludhiana was held under the leadership of Charanjit Singh Vishwakarma Chairman ITI Ludhiana, S.C. Mittal Member ITI Ludhiana, Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO Member ITI Ludhiana & Upkar Singh Ahuja President CICU Member ITI Ludhiana, and unanimously decided the layout of funds utilization of Rs. 2 Crore received from the Member Parliament Funds of Vikramjit Singh Sahney, Member of the Parliament at the Rajya Sabha for Technological update of ITI Ludhiana.

It was decided that the needs of Ludhiana's industry the latest CNC, VMC, Wire Cuts, Computers, Simulators, CAD/ CAM Programs, 3D Printers, and High Tech Latest Welding Robots will be installed at Ludhiana ITI to provide the best training to the students, with a special focus on the skills that industry of Ludhiana needs. All types of latest machines and simulators will be set up, and within a period of Six months, the Ludhiana ITI will be presented as one of the best ITI providing the Ludhiana Industry with Highly Skilled Students.
The Government of Punjab has granted funds of Rs. 80 Lakh for the structural updation of the building of ITI Ludhiana, and 5 Lakhs has been granted by the Personal Funds of Vikramjit Singh Sahni for the plantation and developing the green belt in ITI Ludhiana, within the time frame of 6 months whole ITI will be renewed said Sh. Charanjit Singh Vishivkarma.
It is the vision of Vikramjit Singh Sahney, Member of the Parliament at the Rajya Sabha that the ITI Ludhiana will be upgraded to the World Class Multi Skill Development Centre, that too as per the requirements of the industry, so that the Students of Punjab can find their worth in Punjab itself and this Multi Skill Development center will act as a bridge between students and industry and ensure at least 5000 jobs per year.
