Ludhiana MP authorises DC to spend Rs 5 crore from MPLAD Funds for tackling covid-19

Ludhiana: Ludhiana MP Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu today said that at present the entire country is struggling with the outbreak of CoronaVirus and the Central Government and State Government has already implemented the Lock Down in all over India. The most serious situation is that the people are facing right now problems of daily consumption of food items. The Punjab State Government has already made necessary arrangements to tackle this problem and people will not suffer with lack of necessary food supply items.
He said that it is also mention here that the funds amounting to Rs. 5 Crore have been sent to the Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana under MPLAD scheme and the Ludhiana administration have been told that they can use these funds for any kind of combat activity to fight with CoronaVirus outbreak. /(March 26)
