LUDHIANA NEWS- 109 YOUTH GET EMPLOYMENT DURING JOB FAIR

UNEMPLOYED YOUTH SHOULD GET THEMSELVES REGISTERED ON WEBSITE: DEPUTY CEO

Ludhiana, May 29, 2019: With an aim to provide employment to unemployed and eligible youth of the state, a job fair was organised at District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises Ludhiana. This job fair was organised under the Ghar Ghar Rozgar Yojana of the Congress-led Punjab government and 109 youth got employment. This job fair was attended by several reputable companies.

While providing further details, Mr Navdeep Singh, Deputy CEO, District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises Ludhiana, informed that a large number of youth showed interest and attended this job fair. He stated that during this job fair, companies such as Capital Trust Ltd, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, E Pyramid Services, Sandhu Automobiles (Maruti Suzuki) and several others participated and provided employment to 109 youth.

He informed that for these jobs, the qualification was class 12th, graduation, ITI and B.Tech and the selected youth would get salaries ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 35,000 per month plus incentives.

On this occasion, Employment Officer Mr Rajan Sharma briefed the youth about their job responsibilities.

Mr Navdeep Singh informed that the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises Ludhiana has tied up with Coca Cola, ICICI Bank, Swiggy, Zomato, Ola, Paytm, SBI, City Bus and several other companies for organising more such job fairs in the coming days. He has appealed to the unemployed youth to get themselves registered at www.ghargharrozgar.punjab.gov.in or at www.ncs.gov.in portals so that they can be intimated whenever there is any job opportunity.
