Punjab Medical Representative Association (PMRA), conducts a blood donation camp at Ludhiana on Tuesday.
Ludhiana, October 1, 2013: On the occasion of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, Punjab Medical Representative Association (PMRA), conducted a blood donation camp, wherein 104 Units of Blood were collected.
The hospital teams of DMC&H and Deep Hospital were present to make the event successful.
The camp was inagurated by Rajesh Kaul State General Secratory Punjab Medical Representative Association. He further informed that in the state of Punjab there are 4000 members of PMRA, always available for such social activities and dedicated to the society.
Mandeep Rawat, Secretary, PMRA, Ludhiana unit told that blood is required for the cancer patient, chronic diseases, road accidents, thalassemia and other blood disorders and compared to this demand voluntary blood donation is very less. So there is an extra responsibility on such association like PMRA to participate in voluntary blood donation.
Manjit Saini President PMRA thanked the blood donors and greeted them with the certificate of appreciation.
Present among the occasion were Parveen Bhardwaj, Manoj Sharma, Manoj Gotam, Deepak Malhotra, B.S.Nagi, Dharminder, Satish, Balkar, Japjot Singh, Amit Datta, Kanvarjeet, Raj Kumar, Sudhir K Ahuja, Ranveer, Rajesh Bharti.
