A delegation of Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organisation (FICO) under the presidentship of Gurmeet Singh Kular submits memorandum to Harcharan Singh Golwaria, Mayor, Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, on Thursday.
Ludhiana, October 3, 2013: A delegation of Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organisation (FICO) under the presidentship of Gurmeet Singh Kular met Harcharan Singh Golwaria, Mayor, Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, on the issue of property tax.
The delegates said the government had ensured that the property tax would be less than house tax, but according to their information it was much more both in residential and industrial areas, which was out of reach of common man.
The Mayor was requested to look into the matter and find amicable solution in the interest of the public.
The delegation was comprised among others of Gurmeet Singh Kular, Jagatvir Singh (UCPMA), Rajeev Jain (President Laghu Udyog Bharti, Ludhiana) and Parveen Kumar (Finance Secretary, Whole Sale Cycle Market, Gill Road, Ludhiana), Rajnish Gupta (Chairman Ludhiana Bicycle and Engineering Park), Harpal Singh Bhamber (President, Janta Nagar Small Scale Manufacturer Association, Ludhiana).
