A meeting of Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organisations (FICO) being held under the presidentship of Gurmeet Singh Kular at Ludhiana on Saturday.
Ludhiana, November 30, 2013: A meeting of Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organisations (FICO) was held under the presidentship of Gurmeet Singh Kular regarding additional fuel cost imposed by Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd on sale of power.
FICO termed it as a huge burden on industries and requested to the government to either roll back or adjust it with next bills so that industry can get relief.
Further it was also discussed that last date to deposit Property Tax is November 30 (today) but till now the collector rates which the government announced after 25% discount on Industrial Property tax are not at Ludhiana Municipal Corporation's Website. Fico requested the Corporation to upload the Industrial Collector rates on its website. Further they requested to extend the date of Property Tax upto March 31 next.

Secretary, United Cycle & Parts Manufacturers Association & Secretary Fico ), Satnam Singh Makkar (President, Dhandari Industries Welfare Association), Parveen Kumar (Finance Secretary, Whole Sale Cycle Dealers Association, Ludhiana), Rajnish Gupta( Chairman Ludhiana Bicycle & Engineering Park), Varun Kapoor (General Secretary, Industrial Area C Welfare Association) and Balbir Singh Mankoo (Finance Secretary Fico) were among those present.
