Ludhiana, September 6, 2013: A group of delegates to visited Focal Point Phase-V, Ludhiana, under the guidance of Congress leader Sushil Malhotra Convener Flagship Program Monitoring Committee Ludhiana UPA-I and II.
During interaction with the industrialists the problem faced by them were expressed. Prominent industrialist Bhushan Jindal, Vishal Bansal, Pankaj Garg, R.K. Tyagi, Mewa Singh Kular, Harinder Singh Kanda, Brijesh Morya acknowledged the delegates with their basic problems. Bhushan Jindal told that industrialists are facing problems due to snail pace work done by contractors of Punjab Small Scale Industries and Exports Corporation. He also added that work has been struck due to the poor working condition. All two dozen factories on Ashok Dying Road (from No. 121-C to 126-C) along with main adjoining road. The road under construction has been excavated under three feet and sewerage water is running like a river. Sewerage system has been affected badly and pipes have been broken.
On the occasion Sushil Malhotra condemned the working criteria of Punjab Small Scale Industries and Exports Corporation and demanded a strict action against the related contractor from Punjab Government. Since to move and loading of the goods have become very tedious. He demanded from the higher authority that the road should constructed on priority basis so that industrialists may enjoy atleast the basic comforts he also extended that proper check should be taken against the defaulter. He said on one hand Punjab Government boasts of development but on other hand public is facing problem regarding the delays in all developments.
