Ludhiana News/Punjab industry to get tremendous boost in export by IETSS–EMAT 2013 being held by CICU

Ludhiana, November 30, 2013: On the second day of IETSS–EMAT 2013 being held by Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana, Avtar Singh General Secretary, CICU said that export from Punjab region is all set to get tremendous boost by excellent opportunities highlighted in this flagship event.

 Upkar Singh Ahuja, Joint Secretary CICU informed that there is a huge scope for Auto, Machine Tools, Auto Parts, Textile & Textile Machines to expand their industry. This Mega show will help Punjab industry to grow & compete with global market.

Delegates from Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry visited the Exhibition, interacted with the exhibitors & showed keen interest for specific industrial items to be exported to Pakistan. 

State Level Vendor Development Programme in association with Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala was also held today in the Conference Hall of Exhibition. G.D. Singh AMM/G and Shiv Raj Biradar CDMS/G gave detailed presentation regarding procedure for making vendors for procurement of industrial items for different types of Railway Coaches being developed by RCF, Kapurthala. 

B.S. Nagi and Wazir Singh, Assistant Directors, MSME Development Institute Ludhiana explained the benefits of MSME Schemes.

Purchase teams from Honda Car, Sonalika Tractors & Rane Chennai today visited the exhibition. Management team along with their key members from Punjab State Agricultural Implements Manufacturers Association, Focal Point Welfare Association, Association of Ludhiana Machine Tool Industry & Ludhiana Tractor Parts Association also visited the exhibition.

A large number of captains of Punjab industry representing various sectors visited the exhibition & interacted with the exhibitors for mutual benefits.
