LUDHIANA RURAL POLICE HOLDS MEETING WITH BANK OFFICIALS & MONEY EXCHANGERS

Ludhiana, September 15, 2018: The Ludhiana (Rural) Police under the directions of SSP Sh.Varinder Singh Brar, PPS organized a meeting with bank officials and money exchangers of the district today where senior police officials i.e SP (Investigation) Mr Tarun Rattan, DSP(Investigation) Mr Amandeep Singh Brar, DSP Headquarters, Mr Buland Singh, DSP Jagraon, Miss Prabhjot Kaur, PPS were also present.

During the meeting, detailed guidelines and instructions were imparted to the bank officials to improve the security of banks, ATMs, Cash Transactions etc. It was suggested that the CCTV cameras installed at bank premises and they should be fully functional as well as the guards deployed by banks should also be alert on duty. Further, any suspicious activity which comes to notice of bank staff should also be immediately shared with the local police authorities.
