Jagraon, December 30, 2021: The campaign launched by District Ludhiana Rural against gangsters, looters got a huge success when Ludhiana Rural police led by Daljit Singh Khakh DSP, SI Major Singh and Assistant Sub Inspector Harpreet Singh arrested accused Jasveer Singh alias Jassa alias Dhola son of Gurmeet Singh resident of Kaunke Kalan district Ludhiana, Sanampreet Singh alias Happy son of Shamser Singh resident of Kaunke Kalan, Jaimal Singh son of Channan Singh resident of Kaunke Police Station Sadar Jagraon District Ludhiana and Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi son Major Singh resident of Kaunke Colonies Police Station Sadar Jagraon District Ludhiana with 02 motorcycles and 13 mobile phones (Android) and registered Case No. 190 dated 26.12.2021 Jagraon. Now 13 more mobiles have been recovered from the gang during police remand. So far a total of 26 mobiles have been recovered. Further inquiries are still ongoing.
It is to be mentioned that ASI Harpreet Singh Incharge of Chowki Kaunke Kalan got information that Jasveer Singh, Sanampreet Singh is involved in loot activities. The police party arrested Jasveer Singh and Sanampreet Singh and got the police remand. During police remand, both confessed that Jaimal Singh was also involved in these activities. So far 26 mobile phones have been recovered from all the accused arrested in the case.

URDU CLASSES START IN LUDHIANA, INTERESTED CAN APPLY
Ludhiana, December 30, 2021: The State Languages Department has started Urdu Classes from January 03, 2022 free of cost.
A spokesman of Language Department said that department is holding Urdu Classes in its office at Punjabi Bhawan, Ludhiana and the course is of six-month. He informed that interested people can procure the admission forms from the office of Language Department and can start attending the classes.
