As above, to arrest the drug smuggler and
Robbers, who are anti-social elements a special drive have been initiated
against them. In this regard district police achieved a major success. During
the year 2018-2019 registered 288 cases against Drug smugglers under NDPS Act
registered and 407 smugglers have been arrested with heavy recovery of poppy
husk, Heroine, Ganja, intoxicant powder have been effected from them. apart
from this illicit arms ammunition, stolen/snatched vehicle have also been
recovered.
