Ludhiana, April 25, 2025: A meeting was convened on Friday under the chairmanship of (RO) for Ludhiana West RP Singh who is also Additional Deputy Commissioner (UD)
Representatives from all recognized political parties attended the meeting.
The RO warmly welcomed the attendees and briefed them on the directives issued by the Election Commission of India (ECI). The meeting focused on the draft publication of the electoral roll for the Ludhiana West constituency, which was completed on April 9, 2025.
Singh further explained that April 24 was the last date for submitting the claims and objections regarding the draft voter list with all issues to be resolved by May 2, 2025. The final voter list will be published on May 5, 2025.
In the last, the RO expressed gratitude to the representatives for their participation and cooperation in ensuring a transparent electoral process.
