Ludhiana/New Delhi, September 20, 2013: In the meeting of ESI Corporation held under the chairmanship of Union Minister for Labour & Employment Sheesh Ram Ola & Minister of State for Labour & Employment K. Suresh, FASII's National President inducted into the three main committees of ESI Corporation.
Medical Education Projects progress Monitoring Committee:
This Committee will look into the progress of the work of 38 Medical Colleges in those are in progress with an estimated amount of more than 23351 crores. A medical college in this meeting was also approved in Saneta villege of Kharad with an estimate outlay of 600 crores, the Chief Minister of Punjab had applied for on March 25, 2011 and the state government is contributing the 25 acres of land for construction of this ESIC Medical College.
General Purpose Medical Care Sub Committee:
This Committee will monitor the working of dispensaries and hospitals of ESIC in India
Sub Committee on AYUSH:
This Committee will monitor the work of Ayurvedic Medicines, Ayrvedic Doctors, Physicians, and Ayurvedic Dispensiries of ESI in India
These three are the vital Committees of ESIC, the induction of Badish Jindal will help in better facilitation to the employees in field of medical facilities, according to S. Pandiaraaja, Executive Secretary, FASII.
