The region’s eminent fashion designer Aman Sandhu - who runs fashion studios in Mohali and Amritsar, is widely known in Punjab and neighbouring states has also been showcasing her collections at lifestyle exhibitions in Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, November 25, 2022: The region’s eminent fashion designer Aman Sandhu - who runs fashion studios in Mohali and Amritsar, is widely known in Punjab and neighbouring states has also been showcasing her collections at lifestyle exhibitions in Ludhiana.
Designer Aman Sandhu revealed here today that she has a lot of customers in Ludhiana. Aman Sandhu said, “Ludhianvis are known for their passion for fashion. People at Ludhiana really appreciate my designs and outpour a lot of love every time I hold my exhibition in the city."
She said recently, she held a unique Fashion Show 'Peedhi' and online-cum-offline exhibition. Many of her clients from Ludhiana graced the occasion which was organised to mark the completion of 20 years long journey by the label Aman Sandhu. The main attraction of the event was the Fashion Walk in which kids-young models, middle aged and senior women- which is three generations, showcased some of the exclusive designer suits from designer Aman Sandhu’s collection. The event witnessed the presence of Amandeep Sandhu, Principal, Sherwood College, Nainital; Mandeep Singh Manna, Ex Congress leader and Social Activist; Suhinder Kaur wife of Punjab PWD Minister Harbhajan Singh and Satwinder Bitti, Punjabi Singer among others.
Talking about the latest bridal trends this season, Aman Sandhu said: “We’ve moved away from the era of playing safe to one of experimenting. This is the season of bright and popping colours; essentially shades of the rainbow. Hues of pink, blues, yellow, and orange would be the colours to look out for this season. Purple will also be a trending colour.”
Speaking about her clothing genre and style, designer Aman Sandhu said that she is very proud of being a Punjabi. She said, “Since I myself am very much connected to the Punjabi traditions and culture, it has a great influence on the entire collection which is a mix of different kinds of suits be it Salwar Kameez, Sharara Suit, Gharara Suit, Lehenga and other designer wear.”
Aman Sandhu, recently, has also unveiled a unique 'Look Book' which offers a peep into the designer’s collection with the key designs of her journey of 20 years, said: “The design of each look represents the timeless heritage of Punjabi Sabhyata."
Reflecting further, she said: “Being an explorer, I love to experiment with the handwork, fabrics, embroideries and fusion dresses. Thus, my entire collection which is influenced by Punjabi traditions and culture is really liked by Punjabis living across the state, including Ludhiana and even abroad.”
