Jalandhar, January 24, 2022: NSS unit of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized online activities of poster making and girl's achievement photograph with parents to spread the message that girls are excelling in all fields and should be treated as equal.
Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra in his address emphasised that girls are performing really well in academics, sports and cultural activities. There has been a change in the ideology of parents about nurturing of the girls in equal manner.
Dr. Samra added that we have to take this message of equality to all the parents and NSS volunteers can play a vital role in this.
Chief Program Officer Prof. Satpal Singh said that in these online activities volunteers made posters with messages of women empowerment and equality. Another event was posting photograph of girls with their parents show casing their achievements.
Program officer Prof. Satpal Singh informed that sometimes achievement of girls remain unnoticed but this activity will make parents as well girls feel proud of their achievements.
