Jalandhar, March 19, 2025: Students of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar actively participate in other activities along with their studies. Accordingly, the students of the college have won the inter-college ‘Flower Exhibition’.
Principal Dr. Suman Chopra congratulated the students for this achievement. She said that the college has always provided opportunities to the students for their all-round development and is committed to this in the future as well. It is because of such talented students that the college is making long strides in progress. B.Sc. students of the Departments of Zoology and Botany of the college participated in the flower exhibition at HMV.
Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, Head, Department of Zoology and Botany, informed that Sukhneet Kaur, Roohi and Neha of B.Sc. Medical secured first position in Succulents and Cactus category. Tania, Priyanka and Sanjana secured second position in Leafy Plants category. While, Harshpreet Kaur, Parminder Kaur and Mansi secured third position in Creative Vegetable Basket Management. In her message, the college Governing Council President Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and their mentor teachers on this achievement.
On this occasion, besides Vice-Principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur, Dr. Jaswinder Kaur (Head, Department of Environment), Dr. Upma Arora, Dr. Heminder Singh and Dr. Surbjit Singh and heads of various departments and teachers were also present.
