Jalandhar, April 3, 2024: Lyallpur Khalsa College is committed for the overall development of its students and gives ample opportunities to show case their talent at competitive platforms.
Recently, college Gidha team won Punjabi Sarv Kala Sahit Academy Trophy by standing first in the Gidha competition. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh felicitated the team and said that regular practice, discipline and dedication in any field bring fruitful results. He appreciated the efforts of Gidha team and added that college will keep supporting its students to explore their skills at state and national level.
Dean Cultural Affairs, Dr. Palwinder Singh, informed that the college Gidha team has made a rare distinction by winning District Youth Festival organized by Youth Affairs, Govt. of Punjab and Zonal and Inter-zonal Youth festival of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and Punjabi Sarv Kala Sahit Academy Trophy in one session, 2023-24. He added that the team has won cash prize worth rupees fifty one thousand by taking first position in the competition held at Phillour.
The college Gidha team credited their success to the team in charges and thanked College Governing Council and Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh for providing them such opportunities. During this felicitation event, team in charges Dr. Harjinder Kaur, Dr. Ravneet Kaur, Prof. Kirandeep Kaur team members, Chetna, Honey, Prabhpreet, Khushi, Akriti, Diya, Shallu, Sunidhi, Anshita, Veedhi, Shirin and Dholki master Sunny were present.
