Punjab State Super Football League Tier-2 match was played between Guru Football Club and Kurali Football Club teams at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar.
Jalandhar: Punjab State Super Football League Tier-2 match was played between Guru Football Club and Kurali Football Club teams at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar.
Chief Guest Inderjit Singh, President, DFA, Jalandhar and special guests Manjit Singh Dhatt, Sukhi Mann, Manmohan Singh, Santokh Singh Norway watched this match.
Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh presided over this occasion. A high level football game was demonstrated by both the teams. The Chief Guest said that students should participate in sports along with studies, which help them in their mental development as well as physical development. Both the teams took the match to an interesting turn with a lot of struggle and in the end the match was a draw with 2-2 goals.
Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh congratulated both the teams and said that the college has always been making a valuable contribution to raise the level of sports and has been providing all kinds of financial support to the best players. He assured that the college is committed to honour the students having high level talent in sports and provide them with all necessary facilities.
On this occasion, college teachers, non-teaching staff members and a large number of students were present.
