These words were said by the principal of the college, Dr. Jaspal Singh while felicitating the NCC cadet Lovepreet on his return to the college after attending Thal Sena Camp in Delhi. He said that NCC organisation has a disciplined cadre in the college and he feels proud of the achievements of NCC cadets. Thal Sena camp is an All India level camp and considered to be the second important camp in the NCC after the Republic Day Camp. Cadets are selected to join this camp through various competitive camps organized at battalion, group headquarters and directorate levels. In the Thal Sena Camp, the cadets are given weapons and physical training. Military history also briefed the cadets in this camp under the supervision of Indian Army officers.
Col. Vinod Joshi of 2 PB NCC Battalion sent his best wishes to Lovepreet and wished him a bright future. NCC officer Dr. Karanbir Singh was also present on this occasion.
