Lyallpur Khalsa College's students participated in Punjab Govt sponsored adventure camp
3 NSS volunteers of Lyallpur Khalsa College participated in Adventure Camp organized by the Department of Youth Affairs, Government of Punjab in July, 2024.
Jalandhar, July 27, 2024: 3 NSS volunteers of Lyallpur Khalsa College participated in Adventure Camp organized by the Department of Youth Affairs, Government of Punjab in July, 2024.
Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh congratulated the participants and opined that students' participation in these camps is very crucial in the overall growth of the students. He added that these camps test stamina, team spirit and discipline of the attendees.
Prof. Satpal Singh, Coordinator, Youth Services LKC, informed that 03 students Dev Ansh, Romi Pal and Ashish from BA, BBA and BCA respectively participated in the 10 Day Adventure Camp at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali where they learned learned technical and life skills of mountaineering, trekking, rappelling, navigation, river crossing, disaster management, tent pitching etc.
Volunteers thanked the Department of Youth Services Punjab, President, College Governing Council, Principal and Youth Services Centre LKC for providing such a platform.
