Lyallpur Khlasa College’s Prof. Dr. Gagandeep Kaur took over as new head of Department of Zoology
Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh and Prof. Jaswinder Kaur, former Head of Department of Zoology, in the presence of all the teachers and head of different departments, gave the appointment letter to Dr. Gagandeep Kaur handing over the responsibility of the head of the department and presented her a bouquet and wished her good luck for the future.

Jalandhar, February 17, 2024: Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh and Prof. Jaswinder Kaur, former Head of Department of Zoology, in the presence of all the teachers and head of different departments, gave the appointment letter to Dr. Gagandeep Kaur handing over the responsibility of the head of the department and presented her a bouquet and wished her good luck for the future.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh hoped that under the able leadership of Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, the Zoology department will progress. He added that before this, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur has worked as Convenor Grievances Redressal Cell and editor of the Science section of the college magazine Beas and held other executive positions.
Prof. Jasreen Kaur, Vice-Principal wished that Prof. Gagandeep Kaur will keep enriching the department given her vast experience in the subject.
Former HoD, Prof. Jaswinder Kaur congratulated Dr. Gagandeep Kaur on this occasion and assured that Dr. Gagandeep Kaur will take the department to new heights.
On this occasion, apart from the teachers of the department Dr. Upma Arora, Dr. Heminder Singh and Prof. Surbjit Singh, the heads of various departments Prof. Navdeep Kaur, Prof. Suman Chopra, Prof. Rashpal Singh, Dr. Rajnish Moudgil, Dr. Narveer Singh and Surinder Kumar Chalotra P.A. also gave best wishes to Dr. Gagandeep Kaur.
