Ma Foi becomes strategic knowledge partner to DDUGKY, Signs MoU with TNCDW

Chennai, December 3, 2019: Ma Foi Strategic Consultants Pvt Ltd has signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women (TNCDW), Government of Tamil Nadu, to become the Strategic Knowledge Partner for the implementation of schemes by Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission (TNSRLM). TNCDW was established with the prime objective of bringing about socio-economic development and empowerment of women. Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission (TNSRLM) is part of TNCDW and executes skill development program under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) which aims at alleviation of rural poverty through skill development and livelihood promotion for the rural youth. Through its state wide network of approved Project Implementing Agencies (PIA), TNSRLM will extend its support by providing their skilled work force to train the rural youth in various sector job roles by imparting the necessary soft skills, English language, digital and hospitality skills. Ma Foi will work closely with TNSRLM as the knowledge partner by providing skills training and promoting livelihood for the rural youth of Tamil Nadu. MaFoi partnering organizations who employ the certified candidates from DDU GKY program of TNSRLM will assure a clearly defined career progression plan as per their respective company policies. The MoUwhich was signed in the presence of Ms.Karthiga IAS, Managing Director of Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission and Mr.Ganesh Kanna COO of DDUGKY Tamil Nadu between TNCDW and Ma Foi is effective for a period of 2 years starting from 1st October 2019 till 31st October 2020. Commenting on the development, Ms. Hemalatha Rajan, Director of Ma Foi Strategic Consultants Pvt. Ltd., said,“ This MoU is a prestigious landmark as it allows us to leverage TNCDW’s strong foot hold in rural Tamil Nadu which enables us to deliver quality training and skill development programs designed to meet the needs of today’s rural youth. Being a critical poverty alleviation initiative, candidates will benefit from our educational programs and vast network of partnering organizations to enhance their livelihood.” Ma Foi, a pioneer in HR services, will impart through its partner agencies, skill development to equip the rural youth and make them industry ready. Ma Foi will develop an ecosystem to provide employment opportunities through their network of member organisations and associations with firms across industry segments. Ma Foi’s partnering organizations will be invited at large scale fairs being organized by TNSRLM from time to time. Successful trainees assessed & certified by Ma Foi under DDU GKY Program will be provided with guidance in securing their livelihood through this initiative. As part of its ongoing CSR initiatives, Ma Foi through their CSR wing called The Ma Foi Foundation and Sornammal Educational Trust also provides educational assistance to students, skill training for youth, sports scholarship for young and poor students and enables women empowerment through self help groups.
