How has your experience been so far on  ‘Madness Machayenge – India Ko Hasayenge?’
I'm thrilled to be a part of ‘Madness Machayenge – India Ko Hasayenge!’ I’ve been told that my laughter is infectious, and indeed, whenever I laugh, everyone around me joins in; I love that! I also believe it's one of the main reasons I decided to be a part of this show. I’ve been blessed with a great sense of humour and I enjoy comedy, so when I was offered this part, I was happy to take it on and let audiences see this lesser-known and funny side of me. So far, I have thoroughly enjoyed the acts presented by our skilful comedians, and I am confident that the viewers too will catch on to the ‘madness’.

You have received a lot of appreciation from television viewers. So does this mean you’d consider more stints when it comes to television shows?
I am grateful to the viewers for accepting me and showering this show with so much love. And yes, I do believe that television is an extraordinary medium. There is something for everybody! Being a part of shows such as this is like a weekly rendezvous with the audience, wherein they get to see the real me. No characters are being brought to life, just me, exactly as I am. And in the future, if I do come across interesting television projects, I will consider them.

The concept of ‘Madness Machayenge’ is very different from other comedy shows, how would you define your role here?
We're blessed with an incredible team, with each member brimming with talent. Our vision is to craft a show that becomes a complete family entertainer. Picture this: an entire family gathered around their living room, sharing laughter and joy while watching this show – that's the essence of our delightful creation. Also, in the realm of comedy, every show has its structure, a path that the comedians follow. However, with Madness Machayenge – India Ko Hasayenge,' we have attempted to break the mould! We've got all the segments you can imagine, and we're not holding back.

Can you share with us any past comedy movies or comedians who inspired you?
I'm an ardent fan of Govinda and David Dhawan Sir’s movies. Their films have been a significant part of my life, and I've always found joy in performing to their iconic songs. David Dhawan Sir is aware of my admiration, and he never forgets to drop a text whenever there's a new movie on the horizon. I hope to have him grace our show someday.

How comfortable are you with roasts?
I embrace humour and light-heartedly teasing others is one way of expressing love. Very recently during the shoot, everyone took turns pulling my leg, and I couldn't have been happier about it as it was done in jest and meant to be fun. Roasts are also a part of the show and you’ll see me supporting the guest being roasted with a few digs of my own. It adds an element of balance to the roast, making sure it doesn't become too one-sided.
