MAJITHIA SLAMS CONGRESS, AAP DURING YAD RALLY

DEMANDS CBI ENQUIRY IN THE MURDER CASE OF NEHA SHORIE Ferozepur, March 30, 2019: Amidst speculations of Sukhbir Singh Badal President Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), the Akali Dal has stepped up its canvassing with the series of meetings aligned up in the next few days. In this regard during a Youth Akali Dal (YAD) Rally in Ferozepur, YAD President Bikramjit Majithia asked the party workers to gear up for the upcoming poll battle. While addressing a huge congregation of YAD workers, Majithia minced no word in slamming Capt. Amarinder Singh led Congress government. He said that Captain has betrayed with the youth of the Punjab. He said that before the elections, the Captain had promised the moon by saying that the Congress government would provide government job in each house. “Not a single promise which was made by the Capt. before the elections has been fulfilled. Be it about the smart phones, about jobs or about waiving off farmer’s debt. The youth and farmers are bearing the brunt during Congress regime. More than 900 farmers have committed suicide during Congress regime and now the farmers have started “Jail Bharo Aandolan”. The job fairs organized by the government are nothing else but a scam for which a CBI enquiry should be done”, said Majithia. While terming AAP and SAD (Taksali) parties as “B” Team of Congress, Majithia said that Congress party is behind all the major decisions made by these parties. Majithia demanded CBI probe behind the murder of Neha Shorie, posted as Zonal Licensing Official with Drug and Food Chemical Laboratory in Kharar. “My sympathy is with the family members of Ms. Neha.It seems that there is no law and order in Punjab. I demand CBI enquiry behind the murder of Neha Shorie”, he said. Majithia also visited the residence of some prominent SAD and BJP leaders to drum up support for Sukhbir. During the rally, scores of Akali leaders pledged their assurance in presence of Majithia that every component of the party will work with open arms to ensure monumental victory for Sukhbir. Earlier, Majithia addressed a huge rally in Guruharsahai also and later he addressed one more youth workers rally in cantonment area.
