Major blow to Akali Dal and Congress in village Makhan Windi

The education revolution initiated by the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is set to transform the state, ensuring that children in government schools receive an education that surpasses even that of private institutions. This was stated by Punjab Power and Public Works Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO during an event in village Makhan Windi, Jandiala Guru Assembly constituency, where over 50 families from the Akali Dal and Congress formally joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

Chandigarh/Amritsar: The education revolution initiated by the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is set to transform the state, ensuring that children in government schools receive an education that surpasses even that of private institutions. This was stated by Punjab Power and Public Works Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO during an event in village Makhan Windi, Jandiala Guru Assembly constituency, where over 50 families from the Akali Dal and Congress formally joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO stated that inspired by the progressive policies and performance of the AAP government, a growing number of people are leaving their traditional parties to join the Aam Aadmi Party. He highlighted that numerous Akali Dal workers from Makhan Windi village in the Jandiala Guru constituency joined AAP today. Welcoming the new members, he assured them of full respect and recognition within the party.

Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO stated that under the education revolution spearheaded by Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann, government schools are being equipped with new smart classrooms, boundary walls, modern bathrooms, advanced labs, and other state-of-the-art facilities. These initiatives aim to ensure that children in government schools receive a quality education on par with the best. He emphasized that this education revolution will bring transformative changes to Punjab.

Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO further said that the state government has given a clear and strict warning to those involved in drug trafficking to either leave the state or stop their illegal activities completely. He said that this warning is part of the concrete steps being taken by the Punjab Government to deal with drug menace, so as to ensure a safe and healthy environment for its citizens.

He stated that people are leaving opposition parties and joining the Aam Aadmi Party, inspired by its progressive policies. Highlighting the party's achievements, he said that for the first time in Indian history, a government has delivered essential services free to the public within its first year of rule. These include 600 units of free electricity, free bus services, over 50,000 government jobs, and free ration distribution to the people of Punjab.

ETO said that I am indebted to the people of Jandiala Guru who have given me so much respect. He said that no stone will be left unturned in the development of Jandiala constituency. On Thursday from village Makhanwindi, Shamsher Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Jaswant Singh, Balwinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Kashmir Singh, Amrit Singh, Dilbag Singh, Harjeet Singh, Manpreet Singh, Inderjit Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Swarn Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Jagpreet Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Raj Kaur, Jaswant Singh, Gurjit Singh and many other families have left Akali Dal and Congress and joined Aam Aadmi Party. The minister said that with their joining, the party has become even stronger in Jandiala Guru. On this occasion, Sarpanch Sundar Singh, Rajbir Singh and many others were also present.
