Major Vijai Singh Mankotia not joining AAP at moment
Says the people of Himachal are being ignored by this party named AAP

Dharamsala, April 21, 2022: Major Vijai Singh Mankotia who was a member of the Indian National Congress and minister of Himachal Pradesh, was a member of Legislative Assembly from the Shahpur constituency in Kangra district on Janata Dal and Indian National Congress tickets, has still a say in the area.
Addressing a press conference in Dharamsala Major said that he is a true Desh Bhagat, as he fought three wars in 1962, 65 and 71.
He said that he has the support of some leading ex MLAs and MPs of the state and he will definitely fight the coming assembly elections in November this year.
Putting an end to speculations that former minister in Himachal, Major (Retd) Vijay Singh Mankotia would join the Aam Aadmi Party, he said that he will not join AAP, unless Arvind Kejriwal himself should come to him and talk to him, clarify few stands of AAP regarding the state and agree to his conditions only after accepting them he (Mankotia) will consider joining AAP.
Mankotia accused Arvind Kejriwal and said that he is not protesting till today over the warning of Gurupant Singh Pannu of 'Sikh for Justice' to hoist the Khalistan flag in Shimla on April 29.
He alleged that AAP says that it wished to bring Delhi model in Punjab and Delhi model will be implemented in Himachal also. “Kejriwal should tell about reality of Delhi model. Is it the Delhi model to benefit a few people?
The condition of Punjab in providing free electricity is that the AAP party is not providing even electricity in Punjab now. There is no electricity in Punjab 80 percent of the time during the day”, said Mankotia.
Mankotia further said, “Actually, Kejriwal wanted a puppet in Punjab who could dance to his gestures and it is happening. There is direct proof of this that the Bhagwant Mann is not visible in the AAP meetings in Delhi."
He asked AAP that Does Kejriwal want the same from Himachal?
He said that the geographical position of Himachal Pradesh is different. Mankotia said, “Satyendra Jain says that AAP knows how to win the election, then what is the need of us, (the Himachalis). If only people of Delhi and Punjab will come here and secure a win in Himachal. The people of Himachal are being ignored by this party named AAP.”
