To commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, a fervent supporter of education and the man behind several educational changes in the nation, National Education Day is marked on November 11th in India each year. Team Makoons arranged many educational programs and special activities to impart to the youngsters an understanding of the value of education.
The day began with a school assembly when students learned about Maulana Abul Kalam Azad's life and contributions to Indian education. It was followed by several participatory events and activities that promoted learning and creativity, such as storytelling sessions, quizzes, and art contests.
