Malkhan Singh, in the ongoing tracks, is seen donning 19 avatars of Lord Shiva where each character comprises of unique looks and have a different lesson to teach. Malkhan Singh who has become immensely popular for his portrayal of Lord Shiva in the show is known to be passionate about his health and fitness. The actor religiously works out and ensures he eats healthy. But, there is something not many know about him. The actor has started the practice of chanting, ‘Om Namah Shivay’ 1000 times to make sure he is calm mentally and physically. Malkhan, is playing varied character of Lord Shiva in the show, some being a bit harsh and adverse he finds morning chanting soothing. According to Malkhan health and fitness is the key to a long, active and happy life. Considering in hectic routines and work pressure Malkhan aka Lord Shiva never skip his mediation session. The actor every day takes out an hour for session and chants, ‘Om Namah Shivay’ a 1000 times. When asked, the actor revealed, “Well yoga and meditation is the only holistic form of exercise that not only just helps you physically but also mentally and it definitely makes you more flexible, tones you and that in itself helps you in your overall fitness and wellness obviously because you are mentally fit, you are calmer, you are able to think, I think in a more positive fashion and just think that it can only have positives when you start to do mediation.”
