Manoranjan Kalia predicts Amarinder Government will be voted out of power in coming Punjab Assembly Elections

Ludhiana: Manoranjan Kalia Former State President BJP, Punjab and Former Minister Punjab has said that mathematically viewing, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh's  laim of 85% fulfilling the 2017 Poll promises during 4 years of his rule means that out of 100 promises, 85% of the promises stands fulfilled hundred percent. In other words, all the promises stand completed 85 percent. On both the counts, Capt Amarinder Singh Government's 4 years rule does not fulfill the criteria set by Capt Amarinder Singh himself. Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh should spell out a single promise which stands fulfilled hundred percent.

Addressing a press conference at circuit house here on Thursday he added that out of 90,000 crores of Farmers' loan, only Rs.  4,600 crore waived off during 4 years of Capt Amarinder rule, 1232 farmers committed suicide  for not being able to pay the loan. The regular protest of unemployed DPE, PTI,  ETT, TET, Art & Craft   Teachers , Multipurpose Health Workers and Contractual Clerks and Labor Unions demanding regularization exposes the claim of employment to 25 lac youth.

Unemployment allowance of Rs. 2500 per month to unemployed youth has not been fulfilled yet. Rs 5 per unit electricity to the industry has remained a pipe-dream. Smart Phones to 50 lac youth stands partially completed. The new Industrial Policy within 90 days of coming to power has still not been announced. Same is the fate of Congress Manifesto's other promises.

Further, he said the law and order situation has become bad to worse in Punjab. The Gangster turned Politician Mukhtiar Ansari was handed over to U.P. Police only after Supreme Court's order  till then Mukhtiar Ansari was enjoying the hospitality of Congress Government in jail. Ruthless beating and stripping of clothes of Arun Narang MLA in the presence of police  exposes the spineless working of Punjab Police.

The nabbing of drug criminals in the 5th year of Capt Amarinder's rule exposes the Congress Government's governance that drug criminals were allowed to have a field day for 4 years so much so that Congress Party's own MLA's Harpartap Singh from Ajnala and Surjit Singh Dhiman from Amargarh raised in Punjab Vidhan Sabha  the issue of free availability of drugs in the State. Thus, Capt Amarinder Singh intentionally took the false oath of "Gutka Sahib" to eradicate the menace of drugs within 4 weeks of coming to power.

Further, Kalia told that Punjab State Development Tax of Rs. 200 per month was levied on 19-04-2018 upon the salaried person as well as businessman whose taxable income is above Rs. 2,50,000 annually. The senior citizen having taxable income of above Rs. 3,00,000 will have to pay Punjab State Development Tax. This Tax is to be recovered retrospectively from the year 19-04-2018 with interest @ of 2% per month. It means Punjab Government is making development from the pocket of Businessman & salaried class persons and is totally Bankrupt. The levying of  The Punjab State Development Tax upon salaried class persons as well as businessman, who are already facing recession in the economy, sans reasoning and should be withdrawn.

He said Prashant Kishore, the poll strategist who was instrumental in bringing Congress Party into power by making  false promises during 2017 Punjab Assembly Elections is back again in Punjab as an Advisor to Chief Minister to hoodwink the people of Punjab in 2022 Punjab Assembly Elections. Lumbar hand does not climb again and again (kath ki handi bar bar nahi chadti).  The people of Punjab can't be hoodwinked again during 2022 Punjab Elections. Thus, the Capt Amarinder Singh Government will be voted out of power in coming Punjab Assembly Elections, he predicted.  To a question, he claimed that BJP would form next government in Punjab.

On the occasion, State BJP State spokesperson Anil Sarin, senior party leader Prof Rajinder Bhandari, District President Pushpinder Singhal and others including Rajat Kumar Mohindru were present.
