Chandigarh, November 26, 2014: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal expressed deep grief over the sad demise of Jagjit Singh Roranwali, father-in-law of Manvesh Singh Sidhu, IAS, Special Principal Secretary to Deputy Chief Minister.
Jagjit Singh, 74, breathed his last here today in the PGI after brief illness. His cremation would take place on Thursday November 27 at his native village Roranwali of Malout. He is survived by two sons and two daughters.
In a condolence message Chief Minister and Deputy CM said the passing away of dedicated social worker Jagjit Singh Maan was a great loss to families and people of the area, which could never be filled. Meanwhile, Bikram Singh Majithia, Revenue Minister, Punjab also mourned the passing away of Jagjit Singh.
