Martyrs Day Cycle Ride 2022 flagged off today

Jagraon (Ludhiana), March 22, 2022: Ludhiana (Rural) has organized a 100 km cycle rally today on date 22.03.22 under the able guidance of Dr. Patil Ketan Baliram, IPS, SSP, Ludhiana (Rural) from Police Line Jagraon to Hussainiwala, district Ferozepur to pay homage on the martyrdom day of Shaheed E-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.

Padma Shri Sant Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal, Shri Zorawar Singh Sandhu (Nephew of Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji), Sh. SPS Parmar, IPS, IGP Ludhiana Range, Sh. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, IPS, CP Ludhiana, Shri Virender Kumar Sharma, IAS, DC Ludhiana, Smt. Nayan Jassal, ADC, Jagraon, Sh.Vikas Hira, SDM Jagraon, Sh. Gurdeep Singh, PPS, SP Investigation, Sh. Prithipal Singh, SP Hq., Smt. Gurmeet Kaur, PPS, SP CAW, Smt. Rupinder Kaur Sta, PPS, Dr. Deepak Kalyani, President IMA Jagraon, Sh. Rajinder Jain and Sh. Balvir Singh Gill Financer specially attended the rally and paid tributes to the martyrs. 
Distinguished personalities and Padma Sri Sant Baba Balbir Singh Ji Seechewal addressed the young students and representatives of various colleges, schools and clubs present at the venue. Youth were encouraged to make special efforts for cycling, avoid drugs, engagement with sports and conservation of environment. Hon'ble IGP, Ludhiana Range addressed the youth participating in the bicycle rally about guidelines / suggestions for safe walking on the road while cycling. Padma Shri Sant Baba Balbir Singh Ji Seechewal and other dignitaries who were especially present at the function were honored with titles and insignia. Padma Sri Sant Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal and other dignitaries enlightened the flame and flagged off the cycle rally from Jagraon Police Line. Medical teams and ambulances were also dispatched for the health and safety of the youth participating in the rally and refreshments were arranged for the youth. It is also to be mentioned here that under the supervision of Dr. Patil Ketan Baliram, IPS, dedicated to this martyrdom day, a bicycle rally up to 200 km from Khatkar Kalan via Ludhiana to Shaheed Memorial Hussainiwala Ferozepur and Bicycle rally was organized from Asafwala District Fazilka to Jalalabad, Ferozepur to Shaheed Memorial Hussainiwala.
