Maa Bhagwati Club, Dandi Swami Chowk, Ludhiana solemnised the marriages of five financially challenged girls at Ludhiana on Sunday.

Ludhiana, December 30, 2012: Maa Bhagwati Club, Dandi Swami Chowk, Ludhiana solemnised the marriages of five financially challenged girls here today.
The mass marriage ceremony was solemnised in a local gurdwara.
Among others, the Club’s chairman Ashok Marwaha and president Avinash Sikka were present.
Among others, Baba Kulwant Bhalla, Naresh Sony (Shree Ram Sharnam), Shrikrishna Swami (Shanigaanv), MLAs Surinder Dawar, Rakesh Pandey, Bharat Bhushan Ashu and Simarjit Singh Bains were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Sikka said the Club had solemnised marriages of 350 financially challenged girls in the last 15 years. He added this had been made possible with the help of donors.
