Ludhiana, January 18, 2025: Booklet Release event was organized by Ramgarhia Educational Council in association with Public Action Committee Mattewara Jungles, river Satluj and Budha Darya at Baba Gurmukh Singh Auditorium in Ramgarhia Girls College Ludhiana.
The event was presided over by Ranjodh Singh ji, President of Ramgarhia Educational Council. The College Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur welcomed all guests who graced the occasion with their presence.
The booklet titled ‘Mother Earth ' was released by the college head girl,Taranjeet Kaur. The booklet aims at informing individuals about the crucial importance of vigilance and responsibility in preserving our planet.
President of Ramgarhia Educational Council, Ranjodh Singh highlighted the adverse effects of human insensitivity towards mother earth, the dire need to preserve and rejuvenate our environment and the consequences of making conscious efforts at an individual level which can bring immense change globally. He also motivated the students to plant a tree in their mother’s name and continue with this noble task every year.
Dr. V. P. Mishra also asserted “Clean water and clean air are our birth right and we all must actively participate in preserving it.” Col CM Lakahpal, Manjinderpal Singh Benipal, Col. Jasjeet Singh Gill and Rtd. Income Tax Commissioner, L.R. Nayer, Janmeja Johl also shared their valuable ideas by giving a call to action protecting our health and environment. The event ended with national anthem by the students of PG Department of Music.
