Max Hospital, Mohali installs India’s first Quantum Resonance System Pelvic Centre
Mohali, October 20, 2021: Leading healthcare provider Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali launched India’s first state-of-art QRS (Quantum Resonance System). An Automated Pelvic Floor Muscle Technology center has been installed at its hospital.
This launch is yet another patient-centric step taken by the healthcare provider to empower patients with accessibility to quality healthcare services.
QRS will benefit those with continuous urination or urine leakage while coughing, laughing, sneezing, heavy exercise or any physical movements due to weak pelvic floor muscles, sexual dysfunction (both in males and females) and chronic backache.
QRS is a quantum magnetic technology, where a strong magnet creates a low frequency and variable, vibrant magnetic field of the body pattern with a precisely defined wave shape. The frequency and intensity of the wave can be controlled through the computerized control panels. This wave stimulates the desired muscles/ body part resulting in contraction of muscles for therapeutic use. Its use and safety has been approved by the USFDA.
Dr. RS Rai, Head - Department of Urology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali said that weak pelvic floor muscles treatment will get easier with effective German Technique (QRS) pelvic machines.
The machine helps to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, cure problems like continuous urination and not being able to hold it for longer time, removes infertility of men and women, cures lower back pain, helps in tightening the post-delivery vaginal muscles. Usage of this technology gives effective results in just 16 sittings, Dr. Rai asserted.
The QRS machine also helps in erectile dysfunction (ED) which is a very common problem in men. The QRS machine is non-invasive and pain free.
