Ferozepur, January 15, 2025: In a significant effort to enhance road safety awareness, Mayank Foundation, in collaboration with the Traffic Cell, conducted a series of Road Safety Awareness Seminars at schools across Ferozepur. The seminars, held at HM Senior Secondary School, MLM Senior Secondary School, GHS Satiye Wala, and GHS Jhoke Harihar, aimed to educate students and the local community about safe driving practices and the importance of adhering to traffic rules.
The initiative focused on key road safety concerns such as the dangers of over-speeding, the necessity of wearing helmets and seat belts, and the risks associated with underage driving. Esteemed speakers Harish Monga, Patron of Mayank Foundation, Lakhveer Singh, Traffic Lecturer from Ferozepur Police, and Deepak Sharma, Founder of Mayank Foundation, led the sessions, delivering impactful messages to the audience.
Harish Monga emphasized the value of life and the need for safe road practices, stating, "Every life is precious, please value." Lakhveer Singh shed light on the legal consequences and dangers of unsafe driving habits, including over-speeding and neglecting safety gear. Deepak Sharma highlighted the importance of spreading awareness to foster a culture of safety and prevent road accidents.
The seminars addressed critical topics, including the life-saving benefits of wearing helmets, the importance of seat belts for both drivers and passengers, and the urgent need to discourage underage driving.
