Mayank Foundation celebrates Diwali by distributing helmets
Reiterates its commitment for road safety
Ferozepur, November 6, 2021: The city based Mayank Foundation continued its trademark campaign 'Yeh Diwali, Helmet Wali' this yeaar also on the occasion of Diwali. The Secretary of the foundation, Rakesh Kumar said that Mayank Foundation gifted helmets to the teachers of Das and Brown World School, the school of late Mayank Sharma on Diwali and took a vow that they would always ride two wheelers wearing helmets, so that the society followed them.
He added that the main objective of the campaign 'Yeh Diwali, Helmet Wali' was to motivate people to shift from exchanging gifts and sweets on the occasion of festivals and rather consider gifting BIS-ISI approved helmets, which are the protective shields.
Founder of the federation, Deepak Sharma said that this campaign reminds people that helmets can also be gifted to loved ones. He added that if people started gifting items which add to road safety this could usher in a new revolution. He added that a mass movement was needed to ensure that the traffic rules were followed by one and all.
Principal Dass and Brown School, Preet Kiran welcomed the initiative of the Mayank Foundation and said that the school would ensure that its staff and students followed all traffic rules and set an example for others to follow. She added that Helmets will be made mandatory for all two wheel riders and will also motivate the students to follow all the road safety rules.
On this occasion VP Dr. Seeleen, Deputy Principal Anoop Sharma, Lakhvir Singh from Traffic Cell Ferozepur, Gurmej Singh and Deepak Grover from Mayank Foundation, Kamal Sharma, Harinder Bhullar, Harnam Singh, Vipul Narang, Rakesh Kumar and Deepak Sharma were present on the occasion.
