Mayank Foundation hosts Annual General Meeting `Manthan’
Ferozepur's premier social service organization, Mayank Foundation, convened its annual general meeting, 'Manthan,' under the chairmanship of its President Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO of DCM Group of Schools.
Ferozepur, June 16, 2024: Ferozepur's premier social service organization, Mayank Foundation, convened its annual general meeting, 'Manthan,' under the chairmanship of its President Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO of DCM Group of Schools.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from the foundation member Charanjit Singh to all the attendees. Following this, Rakesh Kumar, the foundation's secretary, provided a comprehensive overview of the year's activities, detailing the successful execution of initiatives such as 'Ye Diwali Helmet Wali,' Pratibha Kanya Scholarship, Painting Competition, Santosh Seva Kunj, Each one plant one , Mayank Sharma Memorial Badminton Competition, Kanya Lohri, Traffic Seminar, Reflector Campaign, and World Mathematics and Science Day.
Foundation member Sunil Gakkhar then presented the financial report for the fiscal year 2023-24, offering detailed insights into the foundation's income and expenditures related to various programs and projects.
In his address, President Anirudh Gupta highlighted the significant impact Mayank Foundation has made over the past six years and expressed optimism about its future contributions on a national level.
Ashwani Sharma discussed upcoming activities and welcomed new members, including Dr. Ashwani Kalia, Advocate Gaurav Nandrajog, Rahul Agarwal, Himanshu Gupta, Vijay Anku Bajaj, Tushar Agarwal, and Jagdeep Kumar, who were introduced to the House and presented with plants.
During the meeting, Jaswant Saini oversaw the election process, leading to the unanimous formation of the new executive committee.
Principal Sanjeev Tandon and Deepak Sharma concluded the event by expressing gratitude to all members for their unwavering support in various capacities. The meeting concluded with the unveiling of the Pratibha Kanya Scholarship Program poster, valued at Rs. 3.90 lakh.
