Mayank Foundation plants 200 saplings at Government School, Kamalwala Khurd

Ferozepur: Continuing its campaign ‘each one, plant one’, Mayank Foundation planted 200 saplings at the premises of the government school at the village Kamalawala Khurd about 20 kilometres from Ferozepur.
A team of the foundation visited the school along with faculty members of the school and planted saplings of various variety like Sukhchian, Neem, Gulmohar, Kaner, Amla, Alucha, Jamun, Haibsakas, Satpatia etc.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamal Sharma, a member of the foundation said that environment degradation has led to many problems in the world. Everyone has a role to play to keep environment clean. Planting and nurturing trees is the simplest and the best ways to protect our environment.
Another member Manoj Gupta stressed upon reducing vehicular emission to keep environment free from pollution. Today the country is experiencing rapid urbanization, but in urbanization, people only see their present life, they do not see their future. Man may face a lot of problems in the coming future. Many scientists have already warned that living on Earth in a few years can be very harmful.
Avtar Singh Puri, Harnek Singh, Rakesh Sharma and various other members of the foundation were also present on the occasion.
